According to detail, the Gulshan-e-Iqbal police said that two bandits intercepted Ayaz Khan, a stage and TV artist, outside his bungalow in Block-7 behind the Disco Bakery, and snatched his cell phone and cash.
The bandits were fleeing when the artist shouted for help and chased the bandits who were by on foot.
The area people and residents gathered on the spot and helped him nab one of the bandits. The other managed to make good his escape. The bandit was identified as Ghulam Muhammad.
The area people handed over the bandit to the police after beating him. A TT pistol was also recovered from his possession. The police lodged a report and started a search for his other accomplice.
